My sister has been told she has atrial fibrillation . What is this ,and am i at risk of it also ?

Atrail Fibrillation is a disorder of the heart rhythm where the upper chamber called atrium does not have any rhythmic contractibility . Due to this , the heartbeat becomes irregular it does not necessarily mean there is a structural heart disease . there's no evidence that the condition runs in the family , so there's no risk of you developing the same
